We cannot exhaust all possibilities in life, and life is likely composed of a series of random choices. The reason you are you, different from others, is that at each fork in the road, you chose this path while others chose another, leading to different outcomes, much like navigating a maze. There is a short story called "The Station", which tells the story of a person who wakes up in the morning, brushes their teeth, has breakfast, and then goes to work. In the first chapter, he catches the bus and successfully goes to work; in the second chapter, nearly all the processes are the same, but he fails to catch the bus and is hit by a car at the end. The story aims to express that in life, at a certain moment, fate can change, and you may not even realize that you have narrowly escaped disaster. Many times, we think everything happens naturally, but in fact, it may just be a result of coincidence. This also leads to another question, the relationship between real life and art. We have previously discussed literature's transcendence over reality and reality's constraints on literature, but in reality, life sometimes imitates art. For example, when middle school students fall in love, many of their behaviors and expressions are not a natural reflection of their own experiences, but rather imitations of images and patterns from TV dramas or literary works. This indicates that real life sometimes imitates art, rather than just art imitating reality.
