What changes are there for Bitopro exchange 1/2 when enabling the "Dual Bank Switching for Deposits" service?
Taiwanese local exchange Bitopro announced in a statement on January 31st that it will officially launch the 'Dual Bank Switching Deposit' service on January 2nd. Currently, when Taiwanese cryptocurrency exchanges process fiat currency (New Taiwan Dollar) deposits, they usually require users to bind a single bank. If a change is needed, it takes 1-2 working days and some services may be restricted. This has been a minor inconvenience for users with temporary urgent needs or accidental deposits from non-designated banks. In response to this, Bitopro announced on January 31st that it will officially launch the 'Dual Bank Switching Deposit' service on January 2nd. The detailed information for the service is as follows: 1. Target audience: Only exclusive investment delivery accounts currently bound to Bankee X BitoPro can bind a second bank. 2. Effective date: January 2, 2025. 3. Notes: If you have already bound two banks (Bankee X BitoPro exclusive investment delivery accounts and another bank), the system will automatically select the 'default bank' on the day the function takes effect. Before withdrawing/depositing New Taiwan Dollars, please go to [Account>Bind Bank] to confirm your 'default bank'. According to regulations, please make sure to use the 'default bank' for withdrawals/deposits. If you use a non-default bank for operations, please contact BitoPro customer service for a refund. After changing the 'default bank', you need to wait 24 hours to change it again, and the monthly limit for changes is 5 times. The withdrawal limit for the two banks is calculated based on the higher limit. For example, if Xiao Ming's Bankee X BitoPro exclusive investment delivery account has a monthly withdrawal limit of 3 million New Taiwan Dollars and the second bank has a limit of 1 million New Taiwan Dollars, if he first switches to the second bank as the default bank and reaches the 1 million withdrawal limit, he can switch back to Bankee and still have a limit of 2 million available. For most users, the new service may not require special attention, but if you have specific needs, you can refer to the new regulations introduced by Bitopro starting tomorrow.
