The DEX founder reveals the Layer 2 strategy: improving UX, optimizing transaction sorting, and promoting Decentralized Finance development.

[Coin World] This morning at the WebX 2025 conference held in Tokyo, a certain DEX founder and CEO expressed during a fireside chat that when envisioning the next phase of the platform, we thought that if the encryption world is actively developing Layer 2, we also need to expand and further improve our products to better serve users. We believe that Layer 2 is the best underlying technology for Decentralized Finance—extremely cheap, incredibly fast, and maintaining the advantages of Decentralization. During the development process, we will communicate with users to understand the problems they face. Specifically, our goal is to build a more full-stack architecture, from a simple front end to the supporting API, and then to a self-built layer for coordination.

One of the most unique new features of this platform is the way we prioritize transactions. We have created a fair priority ranking, thus creating a funding pool that ultimately results in less value loss for liquidity providers. Users can experience this feature in the new version of Hook on the platform. The ultimate goal for asset issuers is to create liquidity at a low cost on such a DEX, leveraging automated strategies without the need to collaborate with market makers.

Today, the UX (User Experience) of DeFi products is poor, similar to the early stages of the internet, but we are working hard to improve the UI and abstract messaging and data transmission protocols. In addition, I am a firm advocate of privacy, believing that the encryption industry will move along the trend of Decentralization, and decentralized products will also become stronger and more complete.
