The business data analysis company Strategy has just announced that it has purchased an additional 555 million USD worth of Bitcoin, according to an 8-K filing submitted on Monday.

With this latest transaction, Strategy – the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin – currently owns a total of 538,200 BTC.

BTC is currently trading at 87,000 USD amid the USD strength index (DXY) plummeting to its lowest level in many years.

Notably, this recent buying transaction seems to have been priced in by the market beforehand, thus not causing much price volatility. However, according to the views of some analysts, the aggressive buying by Strategy is precisely the factor that helps keep BTC's price relatively stable in the context of a globally volatile market.

As Bitcoin Magazine reported, Michael Saylor – co-founder of Strategy – continues to share the familiar BTC price chart that he usually posts every Sunday, which is viewed by investors as a signal to "prepare to buy in." Along with this, he announced detailed figures on the level of access to MSTR shares:

"Based on publicly available data from Q1/2025, there are currently over 13,000 organizations and 814,000 individual investor accounts directly holding MSTR shares. It is estimated that around 55 million other people are indirectly benefiting through ETF funds, mutual funds, pensions, and insurance portfolios."
