Gate Charity Held Mid-Autumn Festival Special Event - "Heritage Heirs" in Taipei

The Gate Charity Mid-Autumn “Heritage Heirs” event concluded successfully on September 25, 2023. We are pleased to look back on this Gate Charity charitable event and share this heartwarming and unforgettable memory with all of you.

During this event, we had the privilege of celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with the elders from the Taipei Private Ai-Ai Institute’s Wanhua General Hospital. Together, we shared mooncakes and listened to their childhood Mid-Autumn memories, and exchanged precious stories about this special holiday. This event made us deeply appreciate that these elders are the true “Heritage Heirs,” and their stories are invaluable cultural heritage.

Our volunteers and the elders collaborated on fingerprint art creations, imbued with emotions and memories. These artworks will be transformed into NFTs and auctioned on the Gate.io platform. All proceeds will be donated in full to Ai-Ai Institute to support their continued care and services for the elderly.

We would like to express special thanks to all the volunteers and community members who participated in this event. Your enthusiastic participation and support made this event possible. Despite the ongoing pandemic, we have maintained safety measures to ensure the health and safety of all participants.

The success of this event not only brings us heartwarming memories but also reminds us to cherish the wisdom and experiences of the elderly and respect their way of life.
